NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU
No, seriously. There is no grand savior on it’s way to you during this transit. The entire purpose of this transit is to find yourself. To be so deeply committed to your healing, to your values, to your I AM. You will lean into your ability to resurrect yourself. Many, many, many times.
YOUR THOUGHTS QUITE LITERALLY CREATE YOUR REALITY
I can’t tell you the amount of times I would shift my mindset and see IMMEDIATE results. Just try it. For a full day. Speak out loud. No really. Talk to yourself. All of the things you’re available for. “Today, I am available for all sorts of miracles! Today, I am secure and set for all of my needs.” See what happens. Catch yourself in whatever loop you are in and shift the frequency. And on the days you need to just feel into the feelings. Allowing it. But never stay there. You are allowed to banish your doubts.
REST IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT
Taking time to rest and not feeling like you have to “earn it” will be a huge challenge. Learning to listen to your body and being in reverence for the cyclical nature of life will change everything. Syncing your menstrual cycle to your work schedule and output levels might change the entire game. Ditching diet culture and finding a way to nourish your body in a way that feels GOOD might cure your eating disorder. Also… Maybe it’s not that bad. Maybe you just need a nap?
NO THING OR PERSON CAN SOOTHE YOU MORE THAN YOUR OWN BREATH
Yeah, I love having a reassuring phone call to confirm that I am not in fact losing my mind and that everything will work out. But nothing… and I mean it. Nothing will ever provide the sureness and safety of your own breath. Breathwork saved my life. This is an invitation.
CUT THE UMBILICAL CORD
Yeah, I am going there. I had to let the relationship with my mother die. It needed to be transformed into something that was more suitable. I understand my mother’s strengths and I only go to her for those. Our relationship is still a work in progress, but I’ve never been so happy to watch my mom be herself and allow myself to be ME. Cut the umbilical cord. Live your life for YOU. Make choices that don’t require your parent’s approval. Simply because you’re capable of doing so. And because your parents are not have the final say on who you are and how you came here to be. Honor them, love them, heal from their upbringing but remember that they are human beings doing their best.
TIME DOESN’T ALWAYS HEAL, BUT COMPREHENSION DOES
What time allows is space for our learning. As seasons pass we take in new inventory and knowledge. We begin to shift our perspective and start to understand why x happened. Comprehension is our ability to digest and assimilate information. It can move at all sorts of pace.
PEOPLE WILL MISUNDERSTAND YOU AND YOU WILL NOT CHANGE THEIR MINDS
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you’re playing the exact role that person needs in their life. Sure, don’t be an asshole. But also like. You have to be you! And someone out there is going to hate you because you’re you! And that’s so perfectly ok. You do not need to convince anyone of your goodness or your worthiness. Those who are supposed to be in your life will see it.
RADICAL RESPONSIBILITY WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Sometimes you’re the problem. Not always. But sometimes. Stop being the victim. It’s tired. Show up and take accountability for how you are choosing to navigate your life. How you choose your relationships. How you’re either willing or unwilling to be vulnerable, wrong, or in need of a serious mind shift.
YOUR PURPOSE WILL BE REVEALED
Your values, the things that light you up, the ideas that keep you up at night — will all start to be illuminated more and more. You will feel the depth of humanity and the infinite potential of the universe. You will feel overwhelmed by the immense potential of what you came here to do and you will feel helpless in how to achieve it. Eventually, you’ll learn that it all requires small steps.
